I want to know Jesus better

What this passage says

The prologue says the Word was in the beginning with God and was God, that all things were made through him, that in him was life, and that the Word became flesh and lived among us. It contrasts those who did not receive him with those who did, and says the only Son has declared the Father.

Lord Jesus, this passage says you are the Word made flesh and that you have declared the Father. I want to know you and not only know about you. Open the Gospels to me. Let what Paul says in Philippians be true of me, that knowing you is worth more than anything I would keep.
