Privacy policy
Reading the Bible on Audela needs no account and no personal details. An account exists only so your own study can follow you between devices. This page says plainly what is kept and what is never shared.
What an account stores
Your email address, a display name if you choose one, and an avatar if you upload one. Alongside that sit the things you make: saved verses, highlights, notes, prayer journal entries, reading and memory progress, and anything you post in the community.
Notes, journal entries and saved verses are private by default. Nothing you write in your journal is shown to another member unless you share it deliberately.
Signing in with Google
When you choose Continue with Google, Google asks your permission to share your name, your email address and your profile picture with Audela Bible Learning Centre. That is the whole request. Audela asks for no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or anything else, and it cannot read them.
You can withdraw that permission at any time in your Google account, and you can delete your Audela account from your account page.
What is never done
Your data is not sold, and it is not passed to advertisers. Your private notes and prayers are not read for advertising or used to train a public model.
Deleting everything
Your account page has a permanent deletion option. It removes your saved verses, highlights, notes, journal, progress, posts, prayers, shared records, uploaded avatar and finally the sign in identity itself. It cannot be undone and there is nothing left to restore.

Bible text and third parties
Scripture is fetched from Bible text providers, and only editions Audela has cleared for redistribution are shown. See the translation register for the licence behind every edition.
