Loading Psalm 103:2-3

David puts forgiveness and healing side by side, and the order matters. The deepest sickness Scripture treats is sin, and the God who heals bodies is first the God who pardons. Believers pray boldly for healing while trusting that God is good even when the answer waits for the resurrection.

A prayer from this passage

Lord, You forgive iniquity and heal disease, and both are mercy. Heal what is broken in my body, and heal what is worse in my heart. If healing waits, hold me steady and keep me trusting You.

Key truth

God is the healer of both body and soul, and He is good whether He heals now or at the resurrection.
