Hebrews 3:15 warns about a voice heard today, and a heart hardened against it.

The truth of the day
Hebrews quotes Psalm 95 and drives the point home: the danger is not that God has stopped speaking but that His voice can be heard and refused. The wilderness generation heard, saw His works for forty years, and still hardened their hearts, verses 9 and 10.
Today is the operative word, repeated across this section. Hearing God's voice is not primarily a technique for discovering hidden information about the future; it is a daily, present-tense encounter that requires a response before the heart has a chance to grow calloused.

Deeper insight
What the passage says in its own setting
The writer of Hebrews takes a psalm written about Israel's past and applies it directly to his readers' present: he chose a psalm, not a narrative, precisely because a psalm is meant to be prayed again by later generations. Scripture read this way is not a historical record only; it addresses today's reader as directly as it addressed the first one.
Verse 13 gives the practical safeguard against hardening: exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Hearing God's voice rightly, in this text, is bound up with community. Isolated believers are more vulnerable to a slowly hardening heart than those who exhort each other.
