Biblical Maps
The journeys, kingdoms and campaigns drawn on the ground they happened on.
Scripture first
Numbers 33:1-2 · Acts 1:8
Moses wrote down the starting points of Israel's journeys, and the risen Christ mapped the mission itself: Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, the end of the earth.
What this shelf holds
- Period maps of the tribal allotments, the divided kingdom, the exile routes, the Gospels' Galilee and the missionary journeys.
- Terrain maps that show why a route existed at all.
How to use it
- Trace the movement of the passage on the map, then reread the passage. Distance and difficulty are usually the point.
- Treat every boundary line as an approximation.
What this cannot settle
Maps look authoritative because they are drawn. Borders in the ancient world shifted constantly and were rarely lines at all.

Reference works
Each of these is named so you can open it and check us. Each carries what it is good for and what it cannot decide.
Every entry below is labelled with the kind of evidence it is, so a lexicon is never mistaken for the text and a commentary is never mistaken for a conclusion Scripture has drawn.
