Grace

Listen to this topic

Loading 2 Corinthians 12:9

Paul asked three times for the thorn to be removed and received something else instead. Grace here is not only pardon for the guilty but supply for the weak. God does not always change the situation, and He never leaves His people without enough.

A prayer from this passage

Lord, Your grace is sufficient, and I need it today. Where You do not remove the weakness, let Your strength be shown in it. Keep me from despising the very place where You have chosen to help me.

Key truth

Grace is God's undeserved favour, given both to pardon sinners and to sustain the weak.
