Acts

Acts records the coming of the Spirit and the spread of the gospel from Jerusalem outward. It follows Peter, then Paul, and ends with the good news being preached in Rome.

Authorship: Traditionally attributed to Luke, addressed like his Gospel to Theophilus.
Historical setting: Jerusalem, Asia Minor, Greece and Rome in the decades after the resurrection.
