Money and Treasure
What you do with money says where your heart already is.
Built on Matthew 6:19-24. Jesus names two treasuries, two lamps, and two masters, and says a person cannot serve both God and money. This week works through what that means in practice.
Jesus talked about money more than almost any other subject, not because He needed it but because it exposes what a person actually trusts. A wallet is a fairly accurate window into a soul, which is why He kept pointing at it.
This week does not treat money as either evil or neutral. It looks at what Scripture says about treasure, giving, contentment, debt, work for wages, and the ordinary use of what God has entrusted to us. None of it is about guilt. All of it is about where your heart actually rests.
