Healing and Weakness
God's power is often most visible where our own has run out.
Built on 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. Paul asks three times for his thorn to be removed, and receives instead a promise about grace made perfect in weakness. Everything this week is read in that light.
Scripture never treats sickness or weakness as if they carry no weight. It records real suffering, real pleading, and real healing, and it also records unanswered requests to be healed. Both are part of the honest witness of the Bible.
This week looks at healing and weakness together rather than treating them as opposites: the God who heals, the God who does not always heal on our timetable, and the strange promise that His strength is made perfect in weakness rather than in its absence.
