Work as Worship
Ordinary labor, offered to the Lord, becomes an act of worship.
Built on Colossians 3:23-24. Paul tells servants, and through them every worker, to labor as for the Lord and not for men, since it is Christ they serve. This week takes that instruction into the whole of ordinary work.
Work was given before the fall, not after it. Genesis 2:15 has Adam tending the garden while everything is still very good, which means labor itself is not a curse, even though the ground and the sweat that comes with it were changed by sin afterward.
This week looks at work as Scripture frames it: a good gift with dignity, a place where diligence and rest both matter, a field where character is tested daily, and a means by which ordinary tasks are quietly offered up to God. None of it requires a platform or a title. It only requires doing the work in front of you as an act of worship.
